The Illinois Comprehensive Numeracy Plan is a statewide initiative focused on improving math proficiency through evidence-based guidance and support for educators. In this book study, we will explore how these ideas align with your practice by examining student thinking, encouraging meaningful discourse, and creating opportunities for learners to make sense of mathematics. Participants will apply strategies directly in their classrooms and reflect on their impact, while earning 30 PD hours for their engagement and implementation. NO Book purchase is needed.  Just download the report from the ISBE website.

Participants also have the option to purchase a bundle pairing this study with either Mathematics Tasks for the Thinking Classroom (K–5) or Mathematics Tasks for the Thinking Classroom (6–12) to extend learning and bring additional high-quality tasks into classroom practice.
