Join us for a writing focused webinar designed to help you move from collecting information to explaining what it means. You’ll work on connecting your knowledge of students, assessment data, instructional decisions, and collaboration to the story of student learning and growth.
With dedicated writing time, guided support, and a personalized 1:1 coaching check-in, you’ll have an opportunity to clarify your ideas, strengthen your written analysis and reflection, and identify your next steps.
Bring the evidence you have, the writing you’ve started, and the questions you’re working through. You don’t have to do it all at once—you just need a place to begin and support to keep moving forward.

What You’ll Learn
During the webinar, candidates will have opportunities to:
- Connect evidence to student learning. Explain what they know about their students and how that knowledge informs instructional planning and assessment.
- Write about assessment with purpose. Describe how they collect and interpret assessment information, monitor student progress, adjust instruction, and support students in using feedback.
- Move beyond description. Strengthen analytical and reflective writing by explaining why they made instructional decisions, what they learned, and how their practice influenced student learning.
- Extend understanding of the forms associated with Component 4 and how these forms support support your component requirements
- Strengthen evidence-based reflection. Connect their evidence and experiences to the Component 4 instructions, scoring rubric, and relevant certificate-area Standards.
- Identify next steps. Take advantage of a 1:1 coaching check-in to clarify thinking, work through a writing challenge, and decide what to focus on next.
