You've achieved National Board Certification, now candidates are asking for your help.
You want to give back. You remember the support that carried you through your own journey. But when candidates reach out, you're thinking: “Where do I even start? What if I give the wrong advice?”
As a Candidate Support Provider, completing these self-paced modules is an investment in your own professional growth. The learning is designed to help you take ownership of your development, reflect on your practice, and make informed decisions about how to best support National Board candidates.
Unlike a live training, where learning is guided by a facilitator and shaped by group discussion, this self-guided experience places you in the driver's seat. You will determine the pace, manage your work autonomously without facilitator feedback, revisit resources as needed, and choose where to spend more time based on your own learning goals and areas for growth. This format requires personal accountability and intentional reflection as you engage with the content.
Moving through the 4 modules, you will interact with resources, scenarios, ATLAS materials and reflective activities designed to deepen your understanding of National Board Certification and ethical candidate support. The goal is not simply to complete the training, but to strengthen your knowledge, skills, and confidence so that you can provide meaningful, professional, and ethical support preserving candidate ownership of the certification process.
